The adventure experience, in each case, is inspiring and moving, arousing deep emotions.
The Kon-Tiki adventure is different in that it was a highly-planned epic adventure designed to prove a scientific point. Toad’s adventure is different in that it is reckless and illegal. Quinn’s adventure is different in that there is nothing gung-ho about it.
This answer is very subjective. The Kon-Tiki adventure could be appealing because it was such a classic, epic adventure. Toad’s adventure could be appealing because of the way in which Kenneth Grahame captures Toad’s total irresponsibility. Quinn’s adventure could be appealing because of the way Quinn acknowledges the importance of family.
